Product Description

The Internal Control extra are provided as supplements to Venor®GeM Classic (Cat. No. 11-1050) or Venor®GeM qEP kits (Cat. No. 11-9100) for mycoplasma detection by conventional PCR or qPCR, respectively. These supplemental Internal Controls are required to carry out process validation with Venor®GeM Classic or Venor®GeM qEP kits as spike into the samples before extraction.

Note: These products are completely identical to those supplied with the respective Venor®GeM kits (Internal Control DNA) and can, to all intents, replace them for EP 2.6.7 / JP G3 compliant testing.

Recommended Use

Intended for use in combination with Venor®GeM Classic or Venor®GeM qEP kits for mycoplasma detection by PCR or qPCR, respectively.
Required to carry out process validation and EP 2.6.7 / JP G3 compliant testing.
Please refer to the Instructions for Use of Venor®GeM Classic or Venor®GeM qEP Kit for specific information about the correct application of the two products.

Internal Control extra: 4 vials, lyophilized; 1 vial PCR Grade Water;
Each vial Internal Control extra to be resuspended with 300 μl PCR Grade Water (tot. 1200 μl);

Shelf Life and Storage

The lyophilized product must be stored at +2 to +8 °C. The rehydrated Internal Control extra must be stored at ≤ -18 °C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
