Venor®GeM OneStep is a kit for direct detection of mycoplasma contaminations in cell cultures, cell culture media, and other biological matrices by conventional PCR. Designed to require minimal pipetting, the kit includes all reagents required for PCR: primers, nucleotides, polymerase and the internal amplification control, which are provided in a ready-to-use lyophilized reaction mix. Upon rehydration with the included buffer, the mix is ready to be dispensed into the reaction tubes according to the sample number. Only samples or controls need to be added prior to PCR.

Type of PCR

For conventional, endpoint PCR with gel electrophoresis

Recommended Use

Applicable in research and industry for direct testing of cell cultures and biologicals. Intended for research use only. Not recommended for clinical diagnostics or testing of human samples.
